Politics is most commonly defined as the study of power and the what, who, where, why and when of that universal phenomenon. However, there is a lot more substance lurking under this umbrella than many initially suspect. If you have an interest in current affairs, politics and the economy, it’s definitely work considering taking this subject for your A-levels.
Now more than ever is a great time to study politics; there are a lot of changes going on in the world around us and most of these stem from (or at least link to) politics. Brexit is the word on everyone’s lips at the moment and it’s sure to be a topic that you will be questioned on at some point during your studies and exams.
